Gluten Free Pound Cake Recipe

Gluten Free Pound Cake Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 3 1/2 cups white rice flour

  • 2 cups evaporated cane sugar (organic)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 4 eggs (organic)

  • 1 cup butter (organic)

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 tsp gluten-free vanilla extract

Gluten Free Pound Cake Preparation:

  1. Set dry ingredients aside.

  2. In a large mixing bowl cream butter, gradually add sugar, beating between additions.

  3. Add eggs and beat well.

  4. Add vanilla.

  5. Blend in dry ingredients gradually, alternating with milk.

  6. Greased and floured two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.

  7. Spread batter into the pans.

  8. Bake at 325F or 160C for 1 hour.

  9. Let cake stay in pans for 10 minutes.

  10. Remove and cool cake on a baking rack.
